EE Business Phone Insurance
What am I covered for?
There are two levels of cover:
Full Cover* - Loss and theft cover (applies worldwide, you’re covered if your phone is lost or stolen), same day or next day replacement**and damage cover (covers accidentally damaged, like your phone being dropped or bashed).
Damage Cover* - Same day or next day replacement** and world wide damage cover (covers accidentally damaged, like your phone being dropped or bashed).
Full Cover for Business - £8 a month
With Full Cover for Business if disaster strikes and your work phone is lost, stolen or damaged it’s business as usual, because EE will replace it the same day (if your claim is accepted before 11am) or the next day (if your claim is accepted before 7.30pm). What’s more, you’re covered worldwide.
Damage Cover for Business - £4 a month
If you don’t want to go for Full Cover for Business you can still protect your work phone against accidental damage with Damage Cover for Business.
So if your phone is cracked, bashed or dropped you don’t need to worry about waiting for it to be repaired, EE will replace it with a fully working phone and SIM the same day (if EE accept your claim before 11am) or if not, the next day (if EE accept your claim before 7.30pm). What’s more, you’re covered worldwide.
Please note - Claims are only valid if the damage has stopped the phone from working normally.
When does my insurance cover commence?
Providing you have agreed to purchase the insurance option, your mobile device is covered from when you receive your mobile device from ourselves. Cover continues on a monthly rolling basis and is included on your monthly bill.
If your phone no longer works because it was dropped in to water, impacted on a surface or otherwise accidentally damaged, please claim on your mobile phone insurance.
Am I able to benefit from this insurance if I live outside the UK
Regretfully the coverage is only available to those people who are permanently resident in the United Kingdom. If you reside in any other country such as the United States, we regret that we are not able to provide insurance.

How do I make a claim?
In the event of making an insurance claim you can simply call EE on 150 on your phone or contact EE Business Customer Service number on 07953 966 250.
Why shouldn't I cover this under my business insurance?
This policy is a dedicated insurance policy especially for mobile devices, ensuring rapid replacement or repair of your mobile device once your claim has been accepted. Business policies often have a much higher excess and a claim for your mobile device will more than likely affect your no claims bonus.
My mobile device has just stopped working?
Your mobile phone is covered by next day faulty replacement so simply call EE on 150 on your phone or contact EE Business Customer Service number on 07953 966 250.

*Full Cover and Damage cover for Business
Same day or next day replacement: if your claim is accepted before 11am (delivered between 6pm and 10pm, specific slots not available) or next day replacement if your claim is accepted before 7.30pm. Geographical restrictions apply on delivery of all replacements. Same day promise excludes customers living in Northern Ireland, Isle of Lewis, Inverness, Isle of Arran, Orkney Isles, Hebrides, Isles of Scilly, Shetland Isles, Aberdeenshire, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight and some parts of Ayrshire, Paisley & Perthshire or while you are outside the UK. Excludes bank holidays and exceptional circumstances.
Upgrade discounts: Only available for upgrades from T-Mobile, Orange or EE to EE.
The insurance element of Full Cover for Business and Damage Cover for Business is underwritten by Allianz Insurance plc. Free Phone Replacement**
Don't forget, if you are on a business plan and your phone develops a manufacturer fault in the first 24 months, EE will collect it from you and deliver a free replacement within 3 to 5 days. You don’t need to buy insurance to be eligible for Free Phone Replacement.
EE can also guarantee you a replacement phone the same or next day with our fast service. Call EE before 10:30am and we’ll pick up your faulty phone and get the replacement back in your hands the same day. Or if you call EE before 7:30pm you’ll get your replacement the next day. There’s a one-off charge of £60 each time you use this fast service.
Manufacturer fault: Defects in materials or workmanship. Does not cover faults due to accidental damage.
Replacement: replacements will be from refurbished stock and may be a different model with a similar specification.
Eligibility: Only applies to phones and tablets supplied by EE or sourced from EE. Excludes Apple iPhones and iPads for the first 12 months (faults in the first 12 months will be referred to Apple).
Fast service: Fast Phone Replacement excludes bank or public holidays, and is subject to delivery slot availability. Same day or next day deliveries are not available to Northern Ireland, Isle of Lewis, Inverness, Isle of Arran, Hebrides, Perthshire, Isles of Scilly and Shetland Isles. Same day delivery is also not available to Aberdeen (unless the claim is received and accepted by EE before 9am), Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Orkney Islands. Only postal (not courier) delivery is available in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
